Hudson Health Plan is a not-for-profit managed care organization proudly dedicated to promoting and providing access to excellent health services for all people. We bridge the gap for those families who are struggling to pay for private insurance by helping them to get the coverage they need to stay healthy.

Our more than 75,000 members live in Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Sullivan, Dutchess, and Ulster counties and benefit from one of three State-sponsored managed care programs – Medicaid Managed Care, Child Health Plus, and Family Health Plus. They receive primary and specialty health care from participating private physicians and health centers. Inpatient care is provided by hospitals throughout the service area. Dental care, behavioral health, vision care and other health services are also available to all members.

Meeting Your Community’s Health Care Needs

Hudson Health Plan believes strongly that everyone has a right to good health. But too many New Yorkers are falling through the cracks and not getting the coverage they need to stay healthy. Since 1988, we’ve made it possible for thousands of Hudson Valley families and children to receive high-quality health coverage through New York State’s low cost and FREE programs.

Sometimes people simply don’t know they qualify for programs that can make a real difference in their lives. You can help spread the word by inviting our representatives to attend the events, street fairs, and block parties that you support. At these events, our representatives can offer helpful health coverage information and answer questions about eligibility and program benefits.

They’re available to speak to small or large groups, or they can simply set up a table and speak to anyone who wants to know whether he or she qualifies for low cost or FREE health coverage.
